Aniimo on PC and Steam
Aniimo is available on Windows PC, Steam and Epic Games Store. The September 16 official launch notice confirms these versions are live. Steam's app ID is 4126040. Native mobile release is scheduled for September 23; see the platform schedule.
Choose the official website launcher, Steam or Epic. The official launcher FAQ recommends that PC players reserve 40 GB on an SSD. That is its installation guidance, not a measured download size or a replacement for each store's listed requirements.
Launcher stuck, black screen or missing installation?
The official launcher FAQ gives these remedies:

For unresolved game problems, use Menu → Support or F10, as directed in the launch notice. Keep the error message and whether it occurs in the launcher or game so you can describe the issue clearly.
Steam controller, black screen and account-linking issues
The developer's Steam Launch FAQ & Bug Reports was posted September 16 and checked again September 17. These are its troubleshooting suggestions, not fixes tested on every device by this site.

For the email error, start from that developer post rather than assuming you must discard your existing account. Only the support team can resolve a particular account's case.
Missing character or lost progress?
The developer's Steam FAQ acknowledges progress-loss reports and says recovery work is ongoing, as checked September 18. It does not promise that every save has already been restored. Check your account and server, then use the official support route; see the progress-loss checklist.
September 17 patch: what it addresses
The official v1.0.3535596.0 patch notes list fixes for repeated reconnections during client lag, an Aniimo Management tutorial issue, a shop-to-Design-Workshop black screen, and certain undelivered Xbox/Xbox PC purchases. These are specific fixes, not a promise that all connection or startup problems are gone.
Can you play Aniimo on GeForce NOW?
Yes. The developer announced GeForce NOW support on September 17, 2026. This gives players a cloud-streaming option alongside a local PC installation. The official Steam announcement names PC, SHIELD TV, Chromebook and Amazon Fire TV Stick among supported devices.
Create a GeForce NOW account, check the available memberships, then use the GeForce NOW app or supported browser. The announcement lists Free, Performance and Ultimate membership options. Aniimo is free to play, but streaming still requires a valid GeForce NOW membership under NVIDIA's terms; check availability and plan limits for your location before choosing one.
Cloud streaming does not establish a native Mac release or Steam Deck certification. It also does not bring forward the September 23 native mobile date. For device setup, use NVIDIA's play instructions.

The official launcher FAQ separately recommends reserving 40 GB on an SSD for the extracted game. This is installation guidance, not a measured download size or a substitute for the store listing. Meeting the minimum is not a frame-rate guarantee. Older September 7 store snapshots differed and should not be treated as the current Steam table.

Epic's recommended listing specifies DirectX 12 and an SSD; Steam lists DirectX 11 and 40 GB available space for both tiers. Keep these store-specific differences in mind when choosing a client, and recheck the store before downloading as requirements can change.
Confirmed Steam features
The listing includes online co-op, online PvP, cross-platform multiplayer, and in-app purchases. The official account FAQ separately confirms cross-platform progress within the same server, subject to account linking. Read multiplayer and account linking before a first console login.
For solo play, distinguish playing alone from playing offline. For a group, the co-op player-limit table separates four-player online co-op from three-player Egg Heist teams.
Steam Deck, Mac, and preload
We have not verified Steam Deck certification, a native Mac version, or the final preload size. A Microsoft-store pack marked for PC is not automatically a Steam purchase. Use each store's own listing for entitlements and compatibility.
