What is Twine?
Twine is Aniimo's signature system: a Pathfinder can merge with a collected Aniimo and use its abilities. The same companion can change how you move through Idyll and how you fight. Think of your roster as a set of distinct capabilities rather than only a collection of statistics.
Exploration and movement
The official game description connects Twine to new abilities and access to the world. Inspect the abilities of the companion you have collected, then try them against obstacles in the surrounding area. We have not verified a universal movement unlock order or a launch control chart, so follow your platform's in-game prompts.
Combat roles
The official index exposes five role categories: DPS, Breaker, Support, Healer, and Energy. These categories help narrow a search but do not independently establish a best team. The value of a role depends on encounter mechanics, the rest of the team, and how its abilities interact.
For a useful comparison, hold the encounter and investment level constant. Evaluate damage windows, survival, utility, and ease of execution. A team that clears one target quickly may be uncomfortable for general exploration.
Progression changes matter
The September developer announcement changes training systems, including removal of runes. Treat beta builds that depend on the removed system as historical. Do not invest based on a screenshot without checking the version and current in-game description.
Twine, evolution, and battle forms

Choosing a team before a tier list exists
